This house was once the residence of Khalifa Abdulahi Ben Mohammed Toarshain, the successor of Mahadi. It was built in the years 1887-1888. It was transfered to a museum 1928 housing the heritage of Mahadia and the Colonial period. The building is protected by Kharoutm State ordinance for Antiquities and Museums 2009.
